This collection of ceramic pendants were wood fired in an Anagama kiln in Winlaw, BC. Glazed by the fire and ash flowing through the kiln over the 125 hour firing, each pendant is one of a kind with its own special and unique surface.
Made by Alice Ingrid Ceramics, an Okanagan based potter, making functional objects for everyday use. Inspired by her surrounding growing up in Penticton, BC she is focused on creating work from local materials found near her home. Her most recent body of work explores the relationship between soft, fluid forms and organic surfaces created by atmospheric firing.
